Our laboratory

Laboratory equipments

The DIGITAG lab consists of a laboratory for "wet" procedures, equipped with thermal cyclers, apparatus for DNA extraction and electrophoresis, Qubit fluoremeter, centrifuges, microscopes (including fluorescence microscopes and stereo microscopes for dissection), incubators, shakers and small instrumentations for lab (pH meter, sterilizer, precision balances, ...), a laboratory for cell cultures, an insectary room (that can be used both as an insectary or for plant breeding) and a room for bioinformatic analyses.

Where we are

The DIGITAG laboratory is located at the Biology Building (via Campi 213/D, Modena, Italy) of the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia  (click or read with a QR reader the left QR code to connect to a google map to locate our lab).
